Old verse from the depths of the "d " drive...obviously written in Summertime...
The air like a breath
exhaled warm moist close
Awakening my skin and putting my inhibitions to bed
To bed to dream- to know
To know skin warmer and closer than the air
Smooth, soft- yearning to be
caressed- pressed- gripped
The wind like silky hair
Blowing across my shoulders
too silky to grasp- to tug
Slipping cascading rippling through my fingers
Sighing in my ear—close moist warm
I am blessed
With an abundance of love
Happiness that is mine for the taking
Joy ripe for harvest at the moment
The sweetness of sunshine
The sparkle of stars
The softness of clouds
The gentle touch of the wind
The scents and flavors of happiness are mine to enjoy and share
So happy so lucky so blessed
-Smile- maybe somtime I will post some of my really really bad highschool poetry....
